JUNEAU, Wis. (AP) -- A Dodge County judge has ordered a convicted drunken driver to pay college costs for the son of the man she killed in a crash last year.

Darcy Schehr was also ordered Tuesday to spend a year in jail and serve 15 years probation for driving drunk last July and causing the death of motorcyclist Daniel Christ. The 40-year-old father was from Iowa City, Iowa. He was attending a motorcycle convention in nearby Washington County. Schehr's vehicle crossed the center line on Highway 60 in the Town of Rubicon.

Judge Daniel Klossner ordered the 28-year-old Hartford woman to pay two years' worth of college costs, including tuition, room and board, and books, for the victim's 15-year-old son.
