Putnum Heights Elementary is getting ready to take on some new students next year.
Construction is set to start Monday on kitchen updates at the Eau Claire elementary school.
It's a project the district says was in the works for years, but is vital now with the school taking on students from Little Red.
The director of building and grounds says the $360,000 addition will be ready to go for students this fall.
