Steven Avery says the 25-year-old photographer he's accused of murdering and burning may still be alive and that the case against him is "all a set up."
Avery spoke with the Associated Press in a phone interview from the Calumet County Jail.
He says there's "no way" he could kill somebody, that it would be too hard.
He also doubts the evidence against him, especially the bone fragments found in a burn pit outside his Manitowoc County trailer.
But the Calumet County Sheriff says the evidence proves Teresa Halbach is dead and that Avery is the killer.
Avery was released in 2003 from an 18-year stint in prison for a rape he didn't commit.
He says he doesn't know if he could handle prison again if he's convicted of the charges against him.
