Stout Media has a new program called Radio Amber on the Stout-Cast Radio Stream.
Radio Amber is an emergency alert system for internet based broadcasters.
If an Amber Alert is issued, it will automatically interrupt regular programming and broadcast the alert, then return to regular programming.
Organizers say, since they use the internet for broadcasting, it's beneficial for everyone because it can reach more people.
Stout-Cast Radio will officially launch on the first day of classes, which is September 3rd.
