Michelin has recalled 6,500 of its pilot sport extra load tires in the U.S. and Canada.
Company officials say the tires do not meet quality standards.
In an affected tire, the condition is noticeable as a blister on the sidewall
of the tire. The blister may produce a noticeable tire vibration.
The condition may result in a rapid loss of air pressure.
No injuries or accidents have been reported from the tires.
