22-year-old man killed in motorcycle crash in Menomonie

MENOMONIE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A 22-year-old man has died in motorcycle crash in Menomonie.

It happened on the 1400 block of North Broadway Street around 2:30 Sunday afternoon.

Officers say Erik Asher of Menomonie died after his motorcycle crashed with a car driven by Logan Coppock of Greensville.

Officers say both Asher and Coppock were driving on N. Broadway when they collided.

Asher was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.

Officers say that alcohol and speed are not factors, but the crash is under investigation.

Menomonie Police, Menomonie Fire, Wisconsin State Patrol and UW-Stout Police assisted on scene.
