Chai Vang, the Minnesota truck driver convicted of killing six deer hunters will now have to pay restitution to the two hunters he hurt and to the deceased victims' families.
A judge in Hayward ordered Vang to pay 52-thousand dollars. The judge says more than half of the money will go to the family of one of the wounded hunters and includes the price of a hunting rifle investigators took as evidence.
It's unclear how long it will take Vang to pay, and a spokesman for the Attorney General says he will likely use prison income. Vang is serving six consecutive life terms.
