Wisconsin's Union Work Force Up Slightly

-- The percentage of unionized workers grew slightly in Wisconsin last year.

The federal Bureau of Labor Statistics says about 16% of Wisconsin's work force belonged to a union in 2005, up about a-tenth of a percent.

Workers represented by -- but not necessarily members of -- unions grew to 17.2% percent -- up three-tenths of a percent.

Nationwide, unions represented 13.7% percent of workers, down a tenth of a percent from the year before.
