This was the 46th annual Bloomer Speed Rope Jump Contest. Kids in grades one through eight competed against one another in different age divisions to try to get a spot in the finals.
The jump-ropers had ten seconds to get as many jumps as they can.
The current world rope jump champion holds the record of 72 jumps in 10 seconds. He's held that title since 1979 and gave some tips on what it takes to hold the title.
"Keep your rope very short. Keep your clothing to a minimum. Tight shirt, tight shorts, tight socks. Typically no shoes, shoes just add weight and get in the way," said Paul Morning.
Bloomer is known as the jump rope capitol of the world.
