Northern Engraving has notified the state that it plans to close its Galesville plant in two months.
The plant employs 132 people who make parts for cars, boats and motorcycles.
The company has set April 7th as a tentative date for ending operations. Galesville is located in southern Trempealeau County.
Northern Engraving is headquartered in Sparta. It said in January 2002 that it would close the Galesville plant that spring. But in April of that year, it reversed that decision.
Galesville Mayor Terry Collins says he hopes that's the case this time, too. Collins says it's one of the city's largest employers.
