Two people are dead and four others are injured in a two-vehicle crash in Portage County.

The Sheriff's Department says it happened around 7:30 Wednesday night in the Township of Stockton.

42-year-old Loriann Stephens-Zarecki and her husband, 35-year-old Kevin Zarecki, were both killed. Two animals in the car also died.

Four young people in an SUV were injured. The 21-year-old driver and two 16-year-old passengers were taken to a Stevens Point hospital.

Another 16-year-old passenger was flown to a hospital in Marshfield.
