With school starting in less than a month, some families may be wondering how they're going to fill up their kids' school bags.
But a fundraiser on Thursday is helping to do just that.
The “Back to School Bucks” drive helps raise money to fill new backpacks with school supplies.
Executive Director for the Boys and Girls Club, Sara Atonson, says there are a lot of families that need help around the area because filling these bags can be a financial nightmare.
Sara Antonson says, "To fill a backpack it costs anywhere between $20 and $30 to get all the supplies needed. Think about the pens, pencils, markers, all of the different supplies needed are so important."
If you'd like to donate, you can call up the Boys and Girls Club for more information.
