The owner of a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado that's traveled more than 1 million miles is parting with what he affectionately calls his "old girl."
Frank Oresnik says his pickup with 1.03 million miles goes on sale on eBay on Thursday night. The minimum bid is $30,000 and the auction continues for 10 days.
The 58-year-old northern Wisconsin man says he wants his pickup to go to someone who can display it because it is unique. Oresnik resides in Catawba in Price County.
He hopes it sells for more than $100,000.
Oresnik attracted national attention in February when he reached the 1 million mile mark while doing a live interview on National Public Radio.
He says the truck has had four radiators, three gas tanks and five transmissions but the engine is still original.
