Two men have been charged after they allegedly beat another man with a hammer

Devon Huddleston, 23, and Shane Prosen, 23, both of Winona, are charged with first and second degree assault. They're accused of beating another man at an apartment after an argument late last month.

The criminal complaint says Prosen hit the man with a hammer several times.

The complaint also says Huddleston says he had a bat to defend himself.

Winona Police found the man passed out and he was taken to the hospital, suffering from skull fractures.

Even if your brother didn't do anything, he is still party to a crime and this kind of crime is something we don't need anywhere around here. Keep the thugs out and keep our streets clean!!!

Keep garbage like this in jail or out of the area. It's getting bad here.
