It's not something you wake up to every morning.

And it drew quite the crowd in Chippewa Falls.

On-Looker says, "It's really impressive to see a bear in your backyard because it don't happen everyday."

This black beauty made its way into Larry Gale's yard and all the way up his tree.

Larry Gale says, "I've always heard about them. But, never this close to my house. And what gets me is it's inside my fence. It's a 4 foot fence all the way around. So, it had to come in through the gate."

And it had to shimmy up the tree about 10 feet before it even hit the first branch.

Larry Gale says, "They got the claws. That don't bother them at all."

Gale says it's not too often neighbors get to see a black bear on their block, and he says the crowd got bigger, as word spread.

Larry Gale says, "Everybody. They don't get to see a bear in a yard everyday."
On-Looker says, "It's really cool to have a bear in your own backyard."

Neighbors say they're starting to think they have an animal friendly block.

On-Looker says, "We've had deer run through the front yard. A hen turkey with about 13 young ones, and a pheasant last year we had in the yard. We're in the middle of the east hill."

It shimmied 10ft up a tree but needed to use the gate to get passed a 4ft fence? Does that make sense?

The bear came out of the tree at 8 tonight and walked right threw my yard and everyother yard in the area!
