A man is in jail after a deadly crash which killed an ATV driver.

The Jackson County Sheriff's’s Department says 23-year-old Phillip J. Holloway of Warrens was driving a vehicle on Fish Creek Road in the Township of Knapp on Saturday

He crashed with an ATV driven by 60-year-old Karen Gibson of Brodhead. She was killed in the crash. A female passenger had non-life threatening injuries.

Holloway is currently in jail pending possible charges related to the crash.

Deputies say alcohol may have been a factor.

I agree that Holloway should go to jail. This was not his first offense. He probably does it all the time, it is time he is stopped so he doesn't take another beautiful life!

Jessica your brother did everything wrong. He drove drunk. I have a father that drove drunk and paralyzed a little boy. I don't feel sorry for him at all. He should be in prison right along with your brother.

This guy needs to go jail for a long time and we know how it is. He will get 6 months for takin the life of someone who was loved by everyone. When you go to the cabin for the weekend at 60 years old you should get to come home. Please, let's get our legislature to make sure that people face real consequences for their drunken actions!

Jessica, your brother lied about the events of the accident and there was a great deal that he could have done to prevent it.

I hate how everyone keeps making Phillip out to be the bad guy. Yes he was in the wrong for drinking and driving but there was nothing that he could of done to prevent the accident which is what the police have stated also. I feel bad for the victims family, but I also feel bad for Phillip who has to live with this for the rest of his life. He is a good person who made a mistake and did all he could do to help the little girl.
