A man is still driving his 1991 Chevrolet Silverado that's traveled more than 1 million miles.

Frank Oresnik of Catawba says he failed to sell what he calls his "old girl" during a 10-day auction on eBay with a minimum bid of $30,000.

He says all he got was a couple of feelers from the auction that ended Sunday. But he's not giving up.

The 58-year-old Oresnik says he is going to put the truck back on eBay later this week with no minimum bid.

Oresnik bought the truck 12 years ago when it had 41,000 miles. He has received national attention for the 1 million milestone.

Shows where we put our priorities in life. Big deal! I know I have put more than a million miles on these poor tired feet of mine, who's going to buy me? They'de say I'm ready for the junk pile!

The day I heard this story on the news I saw the Chevy commercial showing 3 generations of trucks. It's really not a big deal that a Chevy has over a million miles, the commercials show many trucks with that many plus another million miles.

I'm surprised Chevy hasn't bought that thing up to display. What a testament to the longevity of Chevy trucks!

Give it up. It is an old pick up with high mileage. A million miles is just a number that does not change this fact.
