He died in the attack on Pearl Harbor back in 1941, and now a Clark County veteran's remains will finally come home for burial.

Navy Fireman 2nd Class Lawrence A. Boxrucker, from Dorchester, will be laid to rest Saturday.

The Department of Defense says he is among three missing World War II servicemen whose remains were identified and are now being returned to their families.

The military says Boxrucker was on the USS Oklahoma battleship when the Japanese attacked.

Torpedoes hit his ship and it sunk, killing 429 sailors and marines.

New technology allowed the military to identify the men.

They will all be laid to rest with full military honors.
