The Jackson County District Attorney says Doug Sidie will be in court Wednesday for a bail and bond hearing and a formal murder charge could be filed as soon as then.
District Attorney Gerald Fox says the 39-year-old will be in court at 1:15 p.m., likely by video conference from the jail. Fox says he has prepared a draft of the criminal complaint and the Jackson County Sheriff's department is reviewing it. He plans to file formal charges of first degree intentional homicide, concealing a corpse and obstructing an officer.
Fox also says he'll ask that Sidie continue to be held without bail. Fox says Sidie does not yet have a lawyer.
