Officers are investigating the death of a woman who's suspected in an overdose death case.

On Sunday just before 4:00 p.m., Neillsville Police say they were called to a home on West 5th Street. 26-year-old Tiffany Schubert was pronounced dead at the scene. There’s no word on how she died.

Last month, Schubert and her brother, 24-year-old Zachary Shubert, pleaded not guilty to reckless homicide charges in the death of 30-year-old Lisa Gannigan. She was found dead at her home with a needle and syringe containing fentanyl and methadone under her body.

I think this is very tragic what has happened to Tiffany. I do however think it was not necessary for newpapers to print on the circumstances of Tiffany and her brother Zach. We need to all remember yes this is a story, but how is the story I am writing going to affect those I am writing about. Tiffany was after all someones daughter, granddaughter, sister and niece. I didn't know Tiffany personally, but I have heard from several other people, that she was a great person with a heart of gold. Lets leave the family to grieve in peace.
