The president of the Brown County Tavern League has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for paying someone to take the blame for her son's drunken driving.
46-year-old Susan L. Robinson of Green Bay was sentenced Monday after pleading no contest to misdemeanor charges of false swearing and obstructing an officer.
She also pleaded no contest to a felony charge of perjury but sentencing on that was deferred. Robinson's plea deal means she can continue to operate a bar under state law.
Robinson also was sentenced to 200 hours of community service.
Prosecutors say Robinson paid a man $500 to say he was driving after her adult son crashed into a snowbank and abandoned his vehicle.
