The president of the Eau Claire City Council says he's not running for re-election.
Dave Adler says he doesn't have it in him to commit to another three year term. He says the time it takes to do his job at M&I Wealth Management in Eau Claire and family time were both factors in his decision.
Adler was first elected to the Council in 2001. He’s been president since 2005. Adler says he will miss the camaraderie with other members, and being involved in what's going on in the city. His current term ends in April
