'CUBE' Fest
UW-Eau Claire events helps incoming freshmen meet new people Posted: 7:35 PM Sep 2, 2006 |

Lectures and tests are right around the corner for college students, but on Saturday a bunch of them at UW-Eau Claire were having a good time.
>
It’s all thanks to the Cube Fest 2006 Carnival outside of Governors Hall. 'CUBE' stands for 'Creating the Ultimate Blugold Experience.’
>
Students were treated to a variety of activities and entertainment, all while getting a chance to make some new friends.
>
"It's been a great experience to see everyone, meet everyone, UW Freshman Katherine Uhlrich said. “We're all freshmen; we're all kind of wandering around trying to figure out what's going on. Everyone's been really friendly, and everyone's having a good time."
>
Activities continue throughout the week. Tomorrow is "Fiesta del Blugold" behind Putnam Hall on the lower campus.
