Gun Lock Giveaway This Week
Members of the local conservation group Ducks Unlimited will be giving away free cable style gun locks this week.

Ducks Unlimited members will be handing out up to 5,000 free cable style gun locks Monday and Thursday.

The locks are from Project Child Safe, a government-funded group that's been handing out millions of them.

The chapter's chairman says this is a proactive effort to avoid accidents.

The first giveaway is Monday from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Pella Windows and Doors in Eau Claire.

The second is at Gordy's Hardware Hank in Chippewa Falls from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
