The Birch Street exit on the Highway 53 bypass in Eau Claire is about to open.

Later this week, drivers will be able to use the interchange connecting Birch Street with River Prairie Drive.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at ten o’clock on Thursday morning on the bridge connecting the two streets.
