UW-Stout Freshman Competes for "Bachelor of the Year" Title
A UW-Stout freshman is representing the state in a nationwide contest for the title of "Bachelor of the Year."

A UW-Stout freshman is representing the state in a nationwide contest for the title of "Bachelor of the Year."

19-year-old Judson Manor is competing with other eligible bachelors from each of the 49 states in Cosmopolitan magazine's annual contest.

The winner gets a room makeover, complete with new electronics.

Manor will appear with the other contenders on NBC's "Today" show Tuesday morning.

The Glenwood City native says he's happy to be a part of the contest.
>
"All my friends are pulling for me. We're getting a house next year and we'd like the plasma screen TV," Manor said. "Other than that it's just a really cool experience. I'm excited to get to meet new people, go to new places."

Cosmo readers had the chance to vote for their favorite bachelor online last week.

A team of judges from the magazine will reveal the winner Tuesday.
