New Poll Results In Governor's Race
The results of a poll conducted this week indicate that Governor Jim Doyle's lead over Republican Opponent Mark Green is getting slimmer.

The results of a poll conducted this week indicate that Governor Jim Doyle's lead over Republican Opponent Mark Green is getting slimmer.

The poll has Doyle ahead of Green, 50 percent to 44 percent, respectively.

Those results are within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points. The numbers indicate a tighter race than two other recent polls found. Polls by the University of Wisconsin Survey Center and the Saint Norbert College Survey Center had Doyle with a double digit lead.
