The Polk County Sheriff's Department is now eligible for reimbursement for certain computer hardware and software, training, and help from investigators and forensic computer analysts. Sheriff Tim Moore says it's an effort to protect children from online predators.
Dunn and Barron County joined the task force last year. The Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department is also on it.
