Before some of you start with the NAZI words you might best understand how it came about. One big part of it was that it wasn't stopped before it gained a massive foothold. Only those that understood what was going on with the movement knew the dangers of fanaticism. It was allowed to happen by people who just thought they were just a bunch of nice people making a political statement. Anybody who disagreed with the NAZI movement must have been a nut or a bigot was their complacent thinking. Take a good look at Sharia Law and Radical Islam. See what is happening in other countries.

Jim in Neillsville. I am wondering if they have grammar courses in Neillsville...Before you encourage hate speach, you may want to take some time and learn a bit of English first.

Jim, I was wondering if you would have some time to give a few banjo lessons, that is if your sister/wife isn't taking too much of your time? Please keep writing these awesomely funny posts. They are killing me...

Hey, Mike. Islam is a religion, not a nationality. And, I don't know how to break it to you, but Muslims have been here for a very long time. They didn't just come over in boats with sails on them. In fact, a lot of them have been here longer than your relatives. Maybe you are the one who needs to go. I hear that Peru is nice. Can someone really be that dumb?

People who are offended by what other do not have enought real issues to worry about. I have had people make offensive remarks about me and my nationality, but "I" refuse to be offended. I don't believe what others do can really affect me....... Unless they are the president.

I have been laughing for an hour after reading the in-bred hillbilly comments posted here. Did someone actually say that Muslim people should "go back where they came from"? That is classic. I am pretty sure that some of you must play the banjo and date your sisters...

The anti-Muslim comments written here are scarey. Jay is a nut. So is Lee. So are several of the Anonymous posts. These are the exact same attitudes that condoned lynching of black people and gassing of Jewish people. It turns out the Nazism is alive and well in the U.S.A.

Since my last post was apparently too offensive (lol) for WEAU to post, I'll cut out some of the 'bad' words so you get my point... "Since 'run hadji run' is OK, let's see how 'run whitey run' goes over next year" (my original contained the 'n' word as well as the word 'jew' to make the point stronger, but apparently we are not grown-up enough to handle that...)

I guess I should respond to the verses, sadly there are verses in the Bible that also condone killing. If we take them out of context they could say terrible things. There are also Christian groups who kill innocent people, but there again that doesn't mean all do it. What I say is we need to stop the hatred and the promotion of steryotyping. We need to say enough is enough, it takes more courage to stand for peace than to go along with the crowd. There is a famous quote, I can't remember who said it but it goes "America is great because America is good, when America ceases to be good, America will cease being great". Guess what we are on a downhill slide, people we need to go back to being good, we need to go back to what we were. What we are becoming is nothing to be proud of, stand up and be a good American. Quit backstabbing and always trying to get even. It doesn't work, it just lowers us to the standard of those we are getting even with. A place we do not want to be.

Some people will not buy Japanese cars, some will not buy items made in north korea or vietnam. The Muslims would have been better off seeing how many sold and then correct any type of misunderstanding of their culture. My family comes from Canada and Germany my wife's family from Norway. Yet we are First and always Americans. We live witha double standard only Blacks can tell jokes about blacks,Jews about Jews and Pollocks well Iguess everyone can tell them or Ole and Polly jokes. When did we become so thin skined and lost the ability to laugh at ourselfs. Maybe this is the wrong country for Muslims to settle. Why not go to Mexico. My family has been here for generations and we are doing fine being Americans.

Not all MUSLIMS are terrorists. People have to get that straight. This is offensive to everyone and anyone.
Posted by: Jay on Jul 6, 2009 at 06:40 PM

Philo, yes that's it. Lets give into the demands of terrorism. First pull the stupid firework, then they wont like the United States flag flying, then what...? Where does it end? When are the American people going to get so fed up with all this Politically Correct malarkey that we set the record straight. You come here to be like everyone else, not to change OUR way of life to conform to your new ideas. If you don't like that, then leave. I'm sure there are many other countries that will open their arms to a known terrorist/extremist group of people.

OK I guess some of you must be right calling me wrong. I guess it must have been Norwegians who bombed the World Trade Center and blew up Marine Barracks and have killed and tortured innocent people all over the world. It must have been Norwegians who demand that businesses change their operations to accommodate their religion. It must have been Norwegians who sit and to this day plot against the USA. It must be Norwegians who are so easily offended and want to kill any cartoonist who dare make fun of their beliefs. Wake up some of you people and see whats going on in Europe and take a good look at Sharia Law and see if that is what you want here!

All I'm saying is that if there is a group of people who are so offended as to want to KILL us, maybe we shouldn't be p!ssing them off more. Didn't your mother ever tell you not to poke the hornet's nest? Yes, America is great and free and all that good stuff, but we still have to deal with the consequences if we CHOOSE to be childish.

Cole: What he is saying is that all Muslims "condone bombing of innocent women and children and beheading." There are 1.5 billion people who are considered Muslim. You can't tell me that the actions of a whacko group speaks for everyone. I highly suggest you Google search for "Christian terrorists." Check out the results. Now why aren't you saying that all Christians are terrorists???? Let's hear your best answer. Oh and since I haven't served in the military and most likely never will, Lee apparently wants me out of the country.
