A La Crosse man has pleaded guilty to conspiring to make methamphetamine.

Thirty-year-old William Boma admitted at his plea hearing that he acquired materials to make meth and manufactured the drug with Ryan Papenfuss at a rural Trempealeau County farm in the summer of 2004.

Papenfuss is serving a 57-month federal prison term for his role in the case.

U.S. Attorney Erik Peterson says Boma will be sentenced March 17th.
