Boy scouts around America are hitting the road this year to celebrate their upcoming 100th anniversary.
On Thursday, some of them rolled through Eau Claire in their decorated RV for their Century of Values tour. Fifteen teams are traveling the US and stopping at more than 300 Boy Scout Council Headquarters.
Eau Claire is stop number 214 on the 45,000 mile trek. They say they’re trying to promote values instilled in scouts as they preview their anniversary celebration. The scouts started their tour in February and will be on the road until February 2010.
