A car hits a snowmobile in Pierce County injuring a child.

Sheriff's officials say at about 6:30 last night, near Highway E, a vehicle traveling east on 500th Avenue hit a snowmobile in the roadway.
>
The 12-year-old snowmobile driver was taken to a River Falls Area Hospital with unknown injuries.
