The discovery of an inmate petition and plans for a possible work stoppage led to a lockdown of the Maximum Security Green Bay Correctional Institution that has continued for a month.

Warden William Pollard says inmates were planning a sit down work stoppage, which would be a major disruption.

Also, since the lockdown started February 9th, a search found pornography, stockpiled canteen items, money, cigarettes and even makeshift weapons designed to stab or puncture.
