Westbound traffic on Interstate 90 in La Crosse is moving a little faster.

The Department of Transportation opened the eastbound bridge in both directions Wednesday afternoon.

An oversized load damaged the bridge last weekend. The repairs could cost as much as $600,000, and repairs to the westbound bridge won't be finished until June.
