Police say a distracted driver hit a utility pole in Eau Claire Monday night.

Police say a distracted driver hit a utility pole in Eau Claire Monday night.

It happened just before 8:00 p.m. in the Eleven Hundred Block of East Madison.

Investigators say the driver looked down at his cell phone, and ended up hitting the pole.
>
Officers say it didn't affect any power. The driver had minor injuries.
