UW-Stout is adding another degree program to its list. This fall, students can enroll in the new applied social science degree.
The dean of the College of Social Sciences says the new major will give students managerial, social and community service skills. The university estimates more than 115 students will enroll in the new major in the next five years. Two other new majors being discussed are supply chain management and cognitive science.
