Soldier Death
Military officials say Captain John Kurth died Saturday when a roadside bomb exploded in Tikrit.
The 31 year-old Columbus natice was assigned to the first battalion, 18th infantry regiment based in Germany.
Kurth is the twelfth Wisconsin soldier to die in the war in Iraq.
