Next week marks the fourth anniversary of the Iraq War. Today students marched the campus in protest of the war.

UW-EC’s Progressive Students Association held the anti-war rally. P.S.A’s President, Dana Thompson, says protestors made a paper chain with links representing the number of US casualties from the war. "We have the visuals to bring it to the forefront so people can see it and think about it. Most people don't want to think about it, it's something that really has to have attention." Thompson says although they were planning on making 3,200 links, they ran out of paper. She says this was an eye opener to how many people the war is affecting.

About 50 students and faculty participated in the event. Thompson says the turn out varies a depending on how many members they have in P.S.A. from year to year.
