Woman dies after being hit by vehicle
A woman has died after she was hit by a vehicle on Friday.

A woman has died after she was hit by a vehicle on Friday.
The La Crosse Police Department says about 5:30 Friday morning 26-year-old Shannon L. Runkle was hit while in the road near the intersection of Copeland Avenue and Monitor Street.
Police say she was in serious condition at the scene and taken to a local hospital.
The department says she died from her injuries this morning.
The investigation is still ongoing.
