There's a new dog in one city putting a stop to bed bugs!
Max the Beagle is a certified bed bug scent detection dog working with Wil-Kil Pest Control in Madison.
Bed bugs are becoming a big problem in the Midwest, so the company brought Max's nose in to help.
If you get bed bugs, human workers could spend hours going through your room, but they say Max cuts that time down to seconds.
Randy Allen with Wil-Kil says, "We had a situation where we went into a room, we tore the room apart, didn't find anything, We brought max in and within 30 seconds he alerted us to two box springs."
Pest control says Max is about 98 percent accurate with his detections! Once he finds where the bugs are, the company can focus treatment on that area and use less insecticide.
