Police in Madison Monday said they kept an open mind about 20-year-old Audrey Seiler's disappearence right up until last Thursday night.
But, that's when they received a store surveillance video which showed the UW-Madison student purchasing duct tape, rope and other things she said were used by her abductor.
Seiler was interviewed at length on Thursday, according to acting police chief Noble Wray, after the store video came into their hands.
He said before then investigators looked at the suspect angle of her story including the release of a police sketch of a suspect.
Ms. Seiler is now back at her home in Rockford, Minnesota. More than 200 family and friends from her home area drove to Madison to help in the search for her.
