Investigators say teenagers charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of stuff from Eau Claire homes also confessed to hitting houses in Chippewa County.

19-year-old Abraham Barneson of Eleva, 17-year-old Luke Sloman and 19-year-old Justin Johnson, all of Eau Claire, now face several charges in Chippewa County, including multiple counts of burglary and criminal damage to property.
>
Investigators say after Johnson and Barneson were arrested in Eau Claire County, they fessed up to stealing from nine homes in the towns of Tilden, Wheaton and Woodmohr. Investigators say they accused Sloman of being part of it as well. Prosecutors say they would come up on a door and if someone was home they'd ask if Joe was there. If no one answered, they'd enter and go through the residence. They weren't drawn to any sort of items but they did make a mess.

The teens are charged with 20 or more burglary counts each in Eau Claire County. Court records show the teens stole electronics like a 60" plasma TV, coins, jewelry and game systems in December.
