Monroe County voters went back to the polls today for another county board recall election. This time the county board chair lost his seat.
Here's a look at the final results. It shows Dennis Hubbard the incumbent with 140 votes and challenger James Schroeder wins the seat with 158 votes.
Tuesday night’s vote makes 9 recalled county board seats in the last month. Last month 7 out of 8 challengers won seats.
The county says the recalls stem from plans to build a new justice center. Last week, the new board members had enough votes to stop the nearly 30 million dollar project.
