Cat with rabies on the loose
The Eau Claire City-County Health Department is warning people in the Seymour Road area to look out for a sick cat.

The Eau Claire City-County Health Department is warning people in the Seymour Road area to look out for a sick cat.
It says the cat is very ill and injured with no collar or tags. It says the cat has symptoms of rabies. It's black, limping, and salivating heavily.
The health department says raccoons and fox carrying the rabies virus have been seen many times in that area.
If you see the cat, you're asked to call 839-4972.
