Police say an investigation into a string of sexually explicit phone calls involving Halloween costumes and children now points to a Marshfield man.
Marshfield police say they're recommending charges against 32-year-old Christopher Loveland for unlawful use of a telephone. Police say Loveland called several Marshfield homes in the 5 days before Halloween.
Loveland allegedly said he was from a church youth group that donated costumes to children. Then he would describe detailed sexual acts with minors over the phone.
Police say Loveland has acknowledged making those calls.
