The Barron County Sheriff's Department has finished its investigation into an officer-involved shooting last month.
Rusk County Sheriff, David Kaminski, told us the department turned over its information to him, and he submitted the findings to the Chippewa County and Brown County District Attorneys Office for review.
Three officers were put on administrative leave after the shooting. Two of them were Rusk County deputies and one was a DNR conservation warden.
Kaminski says the three exchanged gunfire with 50-year-old Rudolph P. Frenzer. Frenzer was a suspect in a bank robbery in Exeland. He was killed in the shooting.
Kaminski says the officers acted in a courageous manner to put themselves in harms way. Two other men were arrested in the robbery.
