Supporters of legalizing marijuana for medical purposes say the time is right to change the law in Wisconsin.
Two democratic state lawmakers announced on Monday a bill they're co-sponsoring will be the subject of a public hearing on December 15th. That bill would legalize medical marijuana.
One of the sponsors, Senator Jon Erpenbach says he thinks there is enough support to get it passed.
Thirteen states have legalized medical marijuana, and Governor Jim Doyle said last month he would support it if users have a doctor's prescription.
