Starting May eleventh, Muslim cab drivers at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport will face stiff penalties for refusing to serve travelers carrying alcohol.

The penalties approved Monday call for a 30 day suspension for the first offense and a two year license revocation for the second.

Some Muslim cab drivers say it's against Islamic law for them to drive passengers carrying alcohol. Airport officials say more than 70 percent of cab drivers are Muslim.
