A judge decided Monday that 16 year-old Eric Hainstock will be tried in adult court for the murder of his principal.
>
Hainstock faces life in prison if convicted. He had asked to have his trial moved into juvenile court, where he would be freed at age 25.
>
A criminal complaint accuses Hainstock of walking into Weston High School in September and shooting principal John Klang during a scuffle.
>
Hainstock's attorney says he will "rot away" in prison. She says therapy he would have received at a juvenile facility could have helped him.
