Teacher Accused of Sex Crimes
A substitute teacher and youth leader is accused of committing sex crimes with two teenage girls.

A youth leader and subsitute teacher in Ladysmith is charged with committing sex crimes against two teenage girls.

According to the criminal complaint, 25-year-old Michael Stratton solicited sex online and on the phone and convinced both girls, ages 14 and 16, to expose themselves. Police say one of the girls was a student at Ladysmith High School. The other, he met on a ski trip.

Investigators seized Stratton's computer and found that most of the 25,000 pictures on it were pornographic. If convicted, Stratton could face more than 21 years in prison.
